hibernete in windows

how to on hibernete in windows xp
================================

=> right click on desktop
=> a drop down menu will be opend
=> click on Properties option
=> Display Properties dialog box will be opened
=> now click on Screen Saver tab
=> now click on power button
=> a new window Power Option Properties will be opened
=> now click on Hibernate tab
=> check the Enable Hibernation option
=> click on Apply and OK button
=> again click on Apply and OK button
=> now your hibernat option will be active

in windows 7 hibernating is very simple... just click on start >> click on arrow button beside SHUT DOWN button and click on Hibernate... now your system will be hibernated....
